Scalable System Design

Every Explorer 500X includes six 85W high-efficiency solar panels. Whether you're setting up at a sunny campsite or a partially shaded cabin, you can use all six or just a few—each panel works independently, so you only deploy what you need.

The parallel configuration keeps things simple: just plug in and start charging. With all six panels connected, you get maximum input power to minimize recharge time. Note: This system supports parallel connection only. Do not connect panels in series, and do not exceed six panels per DC8020 input port to avoid overcurrent damage.

Wide Compatibility

SolarSaga 500X is compatible with the Explorer 5000 Plus, 3000 Pro, 2000 Plus, 1000 Plus, and 1000 2.

Extended Reach

extend the distance between your solar panels and the power station, you can purchase one or multiple 5m DC extension cables and a single DC8020 to DC7909 adapter.
